What to Expect from the Mindful Self-Compassion Program:
The Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience. The MSC FULL COURSE includes conceptual learning, meditations, and creative self-compassion practices designed to be used in daily life. The 8-part course meets weekly and includes a day-long silent retreat. The MSC SHORT COURSE is a six-week adaptation of the FULL COURSE and
draws on the skills of mindfulness and focuses on developing the resource of self-compassion to enhance our capacity for emotional wellbeing.

Program activities include discussion of topics, experiential exercises, meditation, small group interaction, and home practices. MSC is an opportunity to explore how we typically respond when difficulties arise in our lives and to learn tools for becoming a warm and supportive companion to ourselves. The emphasis of MSC is on building emotional resources. Positive change occurs naturally as we develop the capacity to be with ourselves in a kinder, more

The MSC program ais sometimes paired with art. Participants are guided to immerse themselves in a creative processes during the course, as an additional way to deepen awareness and integrate insights.
